1. General Terms: 1.1 These terms and conditions govern the rental of vehicles from Elite Self Driving Car Rental. By renting a vehicle from us, you (“the Renter”) agree to these terms and conditions.

1.2 The Renter must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license for at least 1 year.

1.3 The Renter must provide valid payment information (credit card or other approved methods) to secure the reservation and for payment purposes.

2. Rental Agreement: 2.1 The rental period is defined by the duration specified at the time of booking or as otherwise agreed upon.

2.2 The vehicle must be returned on or before the specified return date and time. Late returns will incur additional charges as per the hourly/daily rental rate.

2.3 The Renter is responsible for all aspects of the vehicle during the rental period, including insurance, fuel, maintenance, and repair of the vehicle, unless otherwise stated.

3. Vehicle Usage: 3.1 The vehicle must be used solely for lawful purposes. Unauthorized use includes, but is not limited to:

• Racing or illegal activities
• Transporting hazardous materials
• Allowing someone other than the Renter to drive without prior approval
• Off-road driving

3.2 Smoking, pets, or any kind of illegal activity in the vehicle is strictly prohibited unless agreed upon in advance.

4. Insurance and Liability: 4.1 The Renter is responsible for the vehicle during the rental period. This includes any damage, theft, or loss to the vehicle.

4.2 The Renter is required to purchase insurance coverage as offered by the Company, or provide proof of personal insurance that covers rental vehicles. The Company offers collision damage waiver (CDW) and theft protection (TP) as part of the rental agreement.

4.3 In the event of an accident or theft, the Renter must immediately report the incident to local authorities and to the Company. Failure to report incidents may result in additional charges or loss of insurance coverage.

5. Rental Rates & Payment: 5.1 Rental rates are based on the rental duration, vehicle model, and applicable taxes and fees. Additional charges may apply for late returns, extra mileage, fuel, or additional equipment (e.g., GPS, child seats).

5.2 A deposit may be required at the time of booking or vehicle pickup. This deposit will be refunded upon the return of the vehicle in good condition, subject to inspection.

5.3 Payment is due at the time of vehicle pickup, unless otherwise agreed.

6. Fuel Policy: 6.1 The vehicle will be provided with a full tank of fuel, and the Renter is required to return the vehicle with a full tank. Failure to do so will result in additional fuel charges.

6.2 If the Renter opts for a prepaid fuel option, no refunds will be given for unused fuel.

7. Vehicle Maintenance & Repairs: 7.1 The Renter must immediately notify the Company of any issues or damages to the vehicle. The Company will provide instructions on how to proceed.

7.2 The Renter is not authorized to perform repairs or modifications on the vehicle without the Company’s prior consent. Unauthorized repairs will not be reimbursed.

8. Termination of Agreement: 8.1 The Company reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement and repossess the vehicle if the Renter:

• Breaches any of the terms and conditions
• Provides false or misleading information
• Engages in illegal activity or unsafe driving behavior
• Fails to make payment when due

8.2 In such cases, no refunds will be issued.

9. Cancellations & Modifications: 9.1 Cancellations must be made [Number of Hours/Days] in advance for a full refund. Cancellations made within this time may incur a [Cancellation Fee].

9.2 Modifications to the rental period or vehicle selection can be made up to [Number of Days/Hours] prior to the rental period, subject to availability and additional fees.

10. Driver Qualifications & Restrictions: 10.1 Only authorized drivers listed in the rental agreement may operate the vehicle. Additional drivers may be added with the Company’s consent and a fee.

10.2 The Renter must notify the Company of any changes in the driver’s status (e.g., driving under the influence, suspensions).

11. Indemnification: The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from the Renter’s misuse of the vehicle, including but not limited to legal fees, damages, or accidents caused by the Renter.

12. Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by the laws of [State/Country]. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be settled in the appropriate jurisdiction as specified by the Company.
